Kavaia Tea was created with the idea of sharing culture, connection + community.
At the heart of the South Pacific lies the Kingdom of Tonga, a nation of islands steeped in a rich and ancient heritage.
Growing up in Tonga with a family background in agriculture, I wanted to craft teas with ingredients that represented the essence of our islands.
The kava root blended in our teas are cultivated and grown in Tonga. Kava (kah-vah) is traditionally prepared and served in ceremonies and social gatherings.
Our tea bags are made out of non-GMO materials and our packaging is 100% compostable and biodegradable. Our ingredients are organically sourced and carefully crafted with the customer in mind.
